20 മിനിറ്റോളം കാറിന്റെ അടിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി; കോട്ടയത്ത് കാര്‍ തോട്ടിലേക്ക് വീണു ഒരാൾ മരിച്ചു; നാലുപേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്ക്

വലിയ ശബ്ദത്തോടെ തോട്ടിലേക്ക് പതിച്ചതിന് തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ ഓടിക്കൂടിയെങ്കിലും പലരും കാറിനടിയില്‍ പെട്ടുകിടക്കുന്ന നിലയിലായിരുന്നു. ഇവരെ പുറത്തെത്തിച്ച് ഉടന്‍ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഒരാളുടെ ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. 20 മിനിറ്റോളം എടുത്താണ് പുറത്തെടുത്തത്.

തോടിനോട് ചേർന്നാണ് റോഡ് കടന്നുപോകുന്നത്. വളവിൽ അപകട സൂചന ബോർഡുകളോ, റോഡ് വശത്ത് സുരക്ഷ വേലികളോ ഇല്ല. ആറു അപകടങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ നേരത്തെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് നാട്ടുകാർ പറഞ്ഞു. തോട്ടിൽ സംരക്ഷണഭിത്തിയില്ലാത്തതാണ് അപകടങ്ങൾക്ക് കാരണമെന്ന് നാട്ടുകാർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു.
