നന്ദിയോട് പച്ച ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് കലുങ്ക് ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ പ്രാദേശിക ദീപാലങ്കാര കമ്മിറ്റി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദീപാലങ്കാരത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി ലൈറ്റുകൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ആണ് വൈദ്യുതാഘാതമേറ്റ് യുവാവ് തൽക്ഷണം മരിച്ചത്. സംഭവത്തിൽ പാലോട് പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു.‌‌‌
