കുമ്പള പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത കേസ്സിൽ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി കോടതിയിൽ കുറ്റപത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചത് അന്ന് സബ് ഇൻസ്‌പെക്ടർ ആയിരുന്ന അനീഷ് വി കെ ആണ്. പ്രോസീക്യൂഷന് വേണ്ടി ഹോസ്ദുർഗ് സ്പെഷ്യൽ പബ്ലിക് പ്രോസീക്യൂട്ടർ ഗംഗാധരൻ എ ഹാജരായി.
