സൗദിയിൽ ബുധനാഴ്ച മാസപ്പിറ കാണാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ റമദാൻ 30 പൂർത്തിയാക്കി ചെറിയ പെരുന്നാൾ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയായിരിക്കും. സൗദി സുപ്രീം കോടതിയാണ് ആദ്യം ചെറിയ പെരുന്നാൾ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. തുടർന്ന് യുഎഇ, ഖത്തർ, ബഹ്റൈൻ, കുവൈറ്റ് എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളും ചെറിയ പെരുന്നാൾ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയാണെന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഒമാനൊഴികെ ഗൾഫ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ മാസപ്പിറ നിരീക്ഷിക്കാൻ വിപുലമായ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു.
